@yannickq good question! i think esports training camps do exist - but they're usually a lot less glamorous than fiction makes them out to be, lol. i'm mostly familiar with the league of legends scene, while the authors of tbw are mobile game fans - so this is a pretty narrow view of things...

today's idle translation thought - at the end of this chapter, qu meimei's friend tells her that 'meimei, i really think you've gotten yourself stuck on this.' the actual term she uses here is 钻牛角尖, which literally means you've crawled into the tip of a bull's horn. like, you've overthought...

@iceblade20 looks like hatigarm released chapter 1, but it was lost when they moved off mangadex! i'm not sure if it's still available on their website since their website seems to be down too, but you can find chapter 1 on some aggregator sites if you need a refresher.
