Not really the manga is skipping over a lot of minor details from the novel probably because they thought people like you wouldn't read this type of manga(by that I mean people who scrutinize every detail, no offense)

There are no more women being introduced after this and since the story is nowhere near the end there is plenty of time to flesh them out as characters(I know since I read the novel this is based on) Actually this is either it or there is one more woman I can't remember which one
