The quality of this manga is insane, what a great chapter, one of my favorites.

I mean it's subtle and never stated directly but through the manga they're shown together all the time, there's situations where Lucas walks in on them doing something together offscreen, then you see that what happened hit Demi the hardest, etc. You could say they're just very close friends but...
