Man, I really love how they've slowly built up Hobin's abilities over the course of the series. It's taken considerable time, which is very much the case with any martial art, let alone multiple. His focus has always been on learning a few key-moves for every opponent, and then drilling those...
I did a spit-take when I saw his head sticking out of the bushes during that confession scene.
And the final shot of their legs on the other end.. You know what's a goldmine? This manga.
The Husky being the butt of so many of these jokes remains one of the funniest part of the manga to me.
The German Shepherds; "As former police dogs, we swear we will absolutely capture him!"
The Husky ; " As a former home security guard, I swear!"

That was a surprisingly sweet story, pun intended. Not exactly what I was expecting from the comment section on this here site. Put a bit of a smile on my face after having had a pretty darn poopy day myself, so thanks for that!
Well, this is hype as all hell.
It's also very much not how I expected this series to go. I'm really curious as to where they'll go from now, if we're just going to get a straight up group brawl or more likely, an extended rivalry.
Either way, I'm all in.
I'm a little surprised by that ending. Last chapter made me think this NewTuber Chef Mafioso had fed the ganster posing as Fighting Virtuoso to the sharks after his failure. Glad that isn't the case, it seemed a little extreme considering the circumstances.
Props to the author, despite this series being a non-stop stream of misery, I did not anticipate this development. He intermingles the small, sweeter moments really well and the characters are really strong.
I think this manga could be really good if he just spaced the tragedy out a bit more so...
