Personally if I have to wait several days (or even months) just for good looking cleanups and sfx - I'd rather have something rough much quicker. Its a trade-off. I'm willing to wait more for better food at a restaurant but not several hours even if it turns out delicious. That's my take but you...
Without giving actual spoilers I'll just take this chance to rant here a little bit and say that in the WN the story goes downhill from here.
There will be one or two interesting developments that should happen within the next ~15chapters or so but after that it will become trashier as it goes...
