Friendzoned. I'm ok with this for now. I really hate when authors worship at the altar of status quo is god. Because it's lazy, drags the story out, and avoids conflict (and conflict is the interesting part of each work). I don't think we are anywhere near that point.

Instant awesome, just add invisibility. His idea for Lavia's build is just her natural build plus invisibility. So possessive, he won't let others even see his cute girlfriend. I see him doing this to other girl companions to make them op, too.

Status windows and random drops make it feel like they're living in a videogame. Said drop items come in weirdly convenient packaging, as if it's an Atelier game. Also throw in the "character class randomly decided for you by god" (in some stories it's semi-random).

Slime is from D&D. For Japanese people though, it's an iconic part of the Dragon Quest franchise. At one point they closed school in Japan on Dragon Quest release day. It's a popular franchise.

The scene on p10 looks like it's from a magical girl manga. Standing on one foot atop a spiky fencepost like it's nothing sounds like something Saint Tail (from Kaitou Saint Tail) would do.

Sylvie totally pulled off the villainess outfit on p10. She has a cute face, large breasts, a great figure, and superpowers. It's good to be a villainess. Not all villainesses have all of those, but many do.

Characters act how old they look, even if they are Really 300 Years Old. You saw Amako and Nea fighting like little girls, right? The cute face is from her parents, but Nea has a great sense of style for a shut-in vampire princess. Cute bob hairstyle, crop hoodie with crop top, mid-length...

She does this out of love. I mean, who says "We'll be together forever!"? She has to deal with unrequited love for the rest of his life as well, but at least she gets to have an adventure like she wanted.

Not super familiar with Fairy Tail but I found it incredibly strange that there is no magic academy in the world of Fairy Tail.

The "reborn as a villainess" pattern has heroines doing some of the same things and some different things. They want their villainess powers but otherwise want to derail the plot as much as possible (usually taking a hard turn away from the original plot early on) because several bad ends are...

It's like in certain Atelier games. All ingredients have abilities that get added to what you're making with them if conditions are right, so it's about controlling the process to get the results you want.

IRL concrete is made with aggregate (crushed stone) and cement. But desert sand is abysmal as aggregate because its particles are too fine; it's usually taken from harbors and river beds.
