Hey everyone. Sorry that it's been three months since the last batch for this weekly series. Things got super busy in our offline lives, and this chapter was a major roadblock because of typesetting the song. Trust me, I know it sucks for the reading experience, and it frustrates me as well...

Right. And that's a totally valid translation choice as well. I pushed for it, because in Japanese, all phobia names follow that pattern of [very literal kanji]-[phobia kanji]. Claustrophobia is "closed space + phobia". If someone is a "zoophobe" Japanese says they have "animal + phobia"...

Interesting. I tried looking up the Zoids thing myself, but yeah, no dice here either. Interestingly, looking into Zoids, while I never saw the show, I now realized I had some of these toys as a kid. No idea why or what relative bought them for me, but it's interesting to be reminded of them.

No, the author never mentioned it as far as I know. I learned about it from a Japanese reaction blogger... 3 years ago? And made the image to share the information 3 years ago as well. There are a handful of different TWGOK easter eggs in this manga (e.g. Sammy and Kiki).

There actually is, technically. Saitou and Akiko (Rika and Takuya's coworkers on page 4 who say "Hmmm! It's so good!" and "Maybe I should've married him.") are actually from TWGOK, where they were Minami's two friends.

This series is still ongoing, but it's originally published as a semi-annual doujin (Volumes 1,2,3,4,5,6.1,6.2, and 7). These chapters (and some extra pages) were later re-published by Kadokawa as compiled volumes (Book Vol.1 = Doujin Vol.1-4, Book Vol.2 = Doujin Vol.5-7). Currently, not...

You probably already noticed it, but if you do upload a revised edit, the first page has an odd brown tinge on half of the "JK". Also: the straightening isn't really that big of an issue on these images. When I did physical scans, I straightened the pages, but I never could get a perfect...

@Mr.Archer Nice! I've been desperately wanting to know what this series was for ages now, and I know the pain of physically debinding and scanning something. A few things - "Mitaina" - typo, you wrote "Maitana". The author's name is "Tamiki Wakaki", it's a common spelling mistake to write...
