I don’t remember much from the earlier chapters, but it feels like it might be heading toward that whole “you’re too good for me” kind of trope.

Even the gods aren’t as scary as your woman when she’s angry.

Damn, I even have to read the previous chapters to understand what happened. It feels like something is missing here. Very odd chapter.

I don’t remember any character with wings like that feathered and on their upper back instead of the lower back like most demons. So it might be more like fallen angels, just with human. If anyone remembers a character with wings like that, let me know, because I find this detail interesting.
