These chapters feel like they should be omakes or volume extras. You know what they really remind me of? If anyone's ever read Tough, they had these "Another Side of Kiryu" chapters, where this tough, badass, stone cold, constantly glazed villainous dude would just... hang out, take walks...

That's not true, his face was visible in a flashback panel! It's honestly pretty funny just how fucking hard the protagonist(?) couple got sidelined. Sawa is barely even a character at this point, while Oota seems to fight tooth and nail for the status quo.

This manga sometimes doesn't seem to know how to generate plot, so it comes up with these dumbass nonsense arcs, like the dude passing out from touching boobs, or now having to fight a giant snake to control his sleep hugging(?). It's really strange. You'd think there are enough characters here...

Saying "you don't know how I feel after getting rejected by my love!" to the guy whose love you are and whom you also rejected is a real cunt move, not gonna lie.

I don't think we know enough about the alien lifecycle to make a call. For all we know, they're both five years old.

It's the grenades these dumbasses "left behind" on the order of king dumbass at the start of the chapter. Given the average IQ in this manga seems to hover around the lower end of the spectrum, I suspect they just left all their grenades in a big pile outside the cave with no one to guard them...

Love the "elite troops" who are already making huge mistakes, forget mission parameters, act cocky, and break formation at the drop of a hat. They're just born to die, aren't they?
