Finally finished this after a few months, and overall I had so much fun with it. Yes the ending is unfortunately rushed and not very fulfilling, but thankfully the TYBW anime has been excellent and it will likely rectify that. One of my favorite shonens from top to bottom.

The original was definitely a more grounded, and honestly overall better series, but I loved how off the wall this got at times. Kishiro is an excellent artist and a super creative author, and I'm very eager to read the next installment. Like Battle Angel, I'll give this a 9 as well.

Awesome read, finished it in a couple of days. While the mediocre ending and some pacing issues keep this from being a 10 for me, it's still highly enjoyable and a great take on your typical revenge story.

For my money, this is one of the better ongoing series out there, and I really wish more people knew about it. It's got everything you want in a solid story: great characters, great dialogue, a fleshed-out world, awesome art, etc.

This is one of the few manga that I bought the physical editions of right after finishing it. It's so special, man.
