Absolutely agreed -- any time I see this trope it just comes off as so corny. The story's done pretty well to not just full tilt dive into romance. Hoping it doesn't turn into serving le female lead on a platter for the self inserts' enjoyment

Thanks for your work! I'm finding the story to be fairly interesting... the dynamics of Maiko's evident psychopathy and the codependency of nene and serizawa (and now at least four additional women?) are absorbing. Excited to see what develops next.
