A NEW CHALLENGER APPROACHES

There's some potential with this, though I think the whole end of the chapter deflated it a bit. There was some great telegraphing at first to show that she had hidden motives, so having the whole background spoon-fed to us soured some of the good writing. Still, the art and character building...

TL is incredibly based, but I feel like this is just another manga that's reinforcing negative relationships.  However, if he dumps her and this is just backstory for MC's story with an actually supportive gf, I'll be down for it.

Is this manga supposed to be a subversion of romance manga that shows somebody bent on romance instead just finding a friend? It sounds nice, but I wanna see them together!
