That seems overdoing it.
I'm changing almost nothing and not making a full coloring. Only adding a spot of color.
By that thought you can argue that you need to create a separate manga, when manipulating the sound/action effects from Japanese to English.
Sounds more like gatekeeping on...
If don't like this one, then don't read it. Wait for other versions.
