It is a predicatable misunderstanding which tbh I don't love as the translator / reader, but I do think that Shinotsuka needs to work on her self-confidence or else any relationship with Sasabayashi-san is bascially doomed

Thanks, I just read the kanji 毒蛇 as poisonous but it can be read as venomous. If I get time, I'll go back and edit that page.
