    Yes. The manga has some details left out of the anime, but it's still good. The first season ends where the manga was roughly two chapters ago though, so the upcoming season is going to blast way past it.

    The anime cut out large amounts of story, I assume for two reasons: 1) For some reason I guess they really wanted to cover the invasion in season 2, instead of waiting for a potential season 3. 2) I get the impression the producers really wanted Makoto's mana armor reveal to be some big deal...

    They are keeping it consistent. Her name is Sitry, but her sister calls her Sitty, because it sounds like Shitty. That is not a translation inconsistency, it is intentional. Well, ok, I'll give you the inconsistency on Sitry/Sitri.
