Intense chapter. The sky battle makes it really lopsided against the dragons though, they are soft target against flying metal boxes. Also did not expect to see ~WWI level of tech (+ sky ships), I thought it was a bit more early industrial steampunk-ish.
At first I thought Dad would get it for being in denial, but now Mom might be first on the chopping block while gaslighting Dad about it? Or the mother will stay a recurring character and we will see her break down over enabling her daughter.
I don't really think this is the vibe of the series, but he and the new girl teaming up fighting newly created mutants (after escaping from the elevator) would be an interesting twist on the first series.
Well, he said he took out another loan. And Yamikin can be a pain in the ass...
So, is she lunging forward/breaking the needle before she gets dosed or is her piss poor lifestyle the magic bullet?
Might be that she clears out her marks, like a sort of love/marriage scam. The actual fun twist would have her be a black widow type of killer for inheritance.
On page 74 of the chapter, p. 176 of the volume it says "2 tons of potatoes per person" and I don't think that can be right?
Thanks for the translation!
I was talking about changing up the antagonists to not always be sexual deviants. Instead she is now going after a prostitute because she has a hunch that she does more than just compensated dating? Are there no bigger fish?
