    Respect for doing anything for your family, but they would not be proud, unless they hate the nobles. I can understand a stressed black-mailed person can have tunnel vision on the matter, but stealing shows a lack of reflection or belief that others might help her out of the situation

    IIRC, the official LN and manga translator directly talked with the author about these issues, so they should indeed be used. This is my understanding as well.
