A little correction. Here sensei actually said "toshi-ue no onee-san" which means older onee-san. As in onee-san type that are older in age which would disqualify all the students.

On the contrary, I'd say it's already planned. March is the month for high school graduation in Japan and the main characters are high school students. The author most likely picked this month to end it for this reason.
@0DvGate To be fair, even the goddess was surprised that the humans would kill their own saviour. Before his death, the humans were at war with the demon lord so the goddess probably thought they were manipulated or something. Wouldn't mind her getting destroyed(sexually) by Raoul though.
