lol I'm pretty sure China and Korea used crossbows for quite some time. In fact, China fielded mostly crossbowmen in their earlier dynasties 2000 years ago.
@zeronguyen lol just look at the amount of misogynists in the West right now. Switzerland didn't even allow women to vote until 1971 and that was hard fought. The conservatives TODAY still hate women having power or jobs.
@Grimmycoffee lol, peasant revolts are mostly due to dissatisfaction with taxes or food issues. People at the time worry more about shelter and food than anything else. Of course if the feudal lord is ridiculous and administer stupid rules, the peasants would also rise up. However, food is...
lol I love the subtle details of Rida's character, she's so interesting. Everytime she's shown, we find something new about her resolve and reasons. The way she interacts with Zeze and other potential love rivals is also great. She's constantly struggling between duties, love and friendship...
I think Mizukami's one of the very few shounen authors who bother with worldbuilding. Everyone else just goes straight in mindless action or fanservice.

@Imryse wow, talk about self-entitlement from a pirate lol
The anime is actually a much better adaptation than the manga lol. The human scenes were included in both the LN and WN so the anime's being pretty faithful to the original source.
@Vree65 Not too sure your prediction's entirely correct since Solte called the fairy "Saliera". The fairy also quite confidently called Solte by her name "Solte. Obviously Saliera has a connection with the fairy since she gave Solte that pendant, but everything's unclear for now.
Considering that it was revealed a while back that Eugene felt jealousy towards Glen, it' s obvious he loved Veronica cause she was so different from any other character he's met. On the other hand, Veronica saw Eugene as an unwilling husband who eventually saw eye to eye with her. That respect...
lol this is pretty much what High Score Girl has always been about. The strongest hook was never about the games, but how they represented real life scenarios or circumstances that characters have to go through. Guys complaining about the lack of games or the general drama barely liked this...
Carlo has always been the best match for Veronica since they had an equal relationship. He was also someone who towards the end resolved to betray his own faith for the sake of Veronica.
