Rereading this series again, I think I could accept this ending if it was executed better. Maybe if Baki had Musashi completely incapacitated and had the old granny come out right after would've been more well received
Im usually 100 percent on board with a lot of the craziness in Baki but this was just....no. I hope there's a chance the anime will alter this ending a bit
I mean, I wouldnt call it a retcon. Seems like her seeing the effort he puts into his work opened the door and him being a fun person to be around kept her in. Even in the first few chapters that looked like it was the case
