It's alright so far. I'm not a fan of the "mysterious drug turns people into monsters" trope, and I wish there was some reasoning given as to why the goddess is so weak.

I find it hard to sympathize with the princess because it's not like she's just misunderstood or something, she's an active danger to herself and everyone around her, and it seems incredibly selfish and irresponsible to let her be around other people. It doesn't really seem like the empire are...

The prices in this city are a bit weird. It costs 5000 to enter the city, 4000 a night at the inn, but 10000 a month to rent a house?

The super long flashbacks get frustrating, and the pacing is terrible, but it's pretty good overall. I don't really understand the point of that long ass flashback, that could have easily been one chapter of character development.

Why is this author spending so many chapters on the backstory of the most irritating character? And why is this war being presented like both sides are equally bad when the Northerners seem to be the ones that got invaded and massacred?

His decision would be far more reasonable if there wasn't someone who can see the future telling him not to, that aspect takes away from whatever character development this chapter was supposed to show.

It feels like there's dark undertones to everything.
