Gospel does look like a genderflipped version of Lorem except lorem has naturally straight hair, avian wings, and a sinewy tail. While gospel has naturally spiky hair and draconic wings and tail like zeke.
A rough translation of “Chan” would be “little” said with affection. And Japanese is not the only language that refers to people like this. For example in Spanish you would also call people and things “little” as a show of affection.
Yeah but malty is the villain. She’s supposed to do despicable things like that. It drives the plot forward. Hell the series wouldn’t be a third as good without her.

I just noticed something about the last page all of the usual comedy routine duos got their bodies swapped. For example:
