So let me get this straight. MD had all the chapters hosted for free, then decided to partner with MangaPlus because they were a publisher that hosted stuff for free, only to then be made to take all the chapters down by Shounen Jump bar the first and last three, to promote their subscription...

@Roiisu about the same point as the manga currently is (Chapter 39/40), but please go back and read if from the start. The anime was such a lousy adaptation I can't even begin to describe it. The manga is way better.

I like how Attack on Titan's story has developed to the point its in a completely different genre. What was just a simple shounen about humanity fighting evil titans is now an intense seinen political drama about the struggles of race and bloodright in a complex political landscape.

"It's not as sad as ppl make it out to be" I said, foolishly, after finishing the anime. Four hours later and I absolutely understand why.
