I just started reading this, but I can’t help but think that the target of the spell was that other girl, Meari. Which is why she was suddenly knocked off the platform. I doubt that will get explored given how the series was given a rushed ending.

Thank you Ron! Wanting to read this manga after randomly stumbling upon the anime was the thing that caused me to find this site. So it will always have a special place for me.

I just wanted to point out that Hiroyuki is friends with Reiji Miyajima (the Mangaka of Rent-A-Girlfriend). They do each other’s weekly updates. The Girlfriend and Paradise arc went on for 43 fucking chapters. I hope Hiroyuki wouldn’t do that to us, but it had to be said.
