@ADK Indeed, but those are straight up wuxia series. The two I mentioned are "modern day cultivation" type. With a splash of isekai. Plus, the MC's are pretty similar, it's just one is far more proud and vindictive than the other.

Imagine if they were as scared of him as they are of Chen Fan. Though, to be fair, this MC doesn't kill off entire families with one move. Plus, he actually lets people off. Chen Fan be like "Oh, you didn't recognize me? Burn to death."
