I like how we switch from Meguru, the girl who's self-aware about her problems and maybe could've nipped them in the bud on her own, to Niji, the girl with zero self-awareness who thinks she's awesome.
The vibe I get is that in a non-axed version of this she would be the classic shit-stirrer that gets everyone else to come out with their feelings. Which like, isn't my favorite trope, but she got Dangos to reveal her past with an abusive relationship and Miki tried to make a serious move on Tao...
Just three chapters left makes me think that the wedding will be between Fuyuki and Eri, there's not a lot of time to set up a twist (either with a side pairing, or one of them marrying someone else).
What Tao doesn't realize is that she'd have Tsumugu hooked if she started HRT and Tsumugu got to make her an entirely new wardrobe every time her measurements changed.
Yeah, definitely! Like I said, no idea where this will go. Maybe it'll be different with Fuyuki, maybe Fuyuki will give her room to find out she's not obligated to return those feelings in the exact same way.
I mean, I will point out that she never caught feelings for Kyou despite saying that :p So that's one strike against that statement, and we don't see what her other relationships were like. To me it comes off more like an assurance from someone who doesn't want people to lash out at her for not...
Plus, Kyou asked her out after she had otherwise written off dating, so that's probably another attitude difference she brought to that particular relationship.
Huh, no idea where things will go from here. Glad those crazy kids worked something out though!
Up until now I didn't really take Eri's "I always fall in love with someone if they're in love with me, trust" thing at face value, and figured she was just ace. It felt like she was still carrying...
Yeah, I do think that Kisaki eventually came to love Fuyuki. It's just something healthier, where she can be happy for a potential Fuyuki and Eri relationship in a way she can't be for her step-dad and mom.
I don't think it's bad in a vacuum, but this is a big shakeup when the series is about to end. It kind of makes you wonder how the author is gonna land this plane and resolve the big poly mess.
Not a fan of the new girl, but tbh I kind of figured that even if Tao x Tsumugu happened it was always gonna be with Miki and Tao staying together, so I'm not mad about that development. If anything we needed a scene to remind us that Miki cares about Tao.
I do wonder what the long term plans...
