For readers of the future who are reading the comments: I originally used "Clown" for Madia's class, changed it to "Jester".

@Aramenus I considered it. I'm fine with either one really, but I thought I might as well go with the official translation.

If the standard is "has been used as a name at some point", Melida is also a real name.

@reu If that's what the author was going for, they would've used メリンダ instead of メリダ. Looking at all the other names, can you really say they were going for actual names?

@dragons06 This was from September's volume last year, so 8-ish chapters. It's a monthly manga.

@bringmemyoppa The chapter counter is probably messed up because of chapter 0, this was the final one. There is one more bonus chapter that's like 5 pages, although it's completely different and doesn't even feature the main cast.

Out of curiosity I went and checked the author's tweets from around the time it was canned, doesn't look like he wanted to stop. He said that it's a shame and that he was quite fond of the characters.

@Orihalco I was a bit confused by that too. On page 4 it jumps to the past, then on page 8 it jumps back to the present.
