@Ranzo The first name thing has to do with the way Japanese language/culture works. The closer you are to someone and the more you get to know them, the more casual your language is with them. And the way you call them has to do with that.
Using "FamilyName-san" -> "FirstName-san" ->...
@JaciP There's not another group working on this. The other chapter that was posted was stolen from NASS's drive before it was ready to be posted, presumably to spread drama. Hence the big difference in quality, and why all the comments on the stolen chapter had strong reactions.
Ahhhhh I'm so glad they actually handled the misunderstandinggggg. So many stories nowadays spend ages on a stupid little thing like that and don't address it until there's an argument. I'm glad they were both conscious of that and tried to keep an open line of communication. ;;
