(Writing this as a newbie to the series) Ironically, because of his traumatic childhood, Iruma is the perfect one to introduce compassion to the demon world. He knows exactly how Clara feels.

Just started this series (yes I know I'm very late to it). I already heard that Iruma's terrible upbringing is only ever played for laughs and not treated seriously, since this is a comedy manga first and foremost. But I really wish it was! Poor kid needs therapy.
