In my opinion, it’s not that her standing came from any mental illness. It’s not even stated that she has one. What this is saying is that she was looking for some way to feel love from another and turned to loving things like characters.

I think the reason he’s shown this way is either, he’s faking it (highly unlikely) or that what was shown in the book was a skewed depiction of him to make the reader see him as only evil incarnate. Many books do tend to not show much characterization of their villains outside of just evil...
This poor guy. He’s gonna have to go through second male-lead syndrome. The saddest part is that the one that knew the protagonist since childhood never win. Rip new guy
Man, almost none of you guys are talking about the diamond prince. The poor thing was treated so terribly, for all we know, almost his whole life. He couldn’t even eat by himself! He even was done those terrible things by his own brother. It’s just so sad.
