lots of authors are total beginners when it comes to art and rules of consistent writing. i'd say one out of ten japanese writers actually knows what they are doing, rest of 'em just slaps cool concepts together, throw them at walls and see what sticks.
strongly agree. imo Kusunoki is the weakest of the three in terms of "oomph". Otobe and Hebi had much more impactful introductions compared to Kusunoki who just decided to be an assfly to MC. i know this doesn't make any sense, i can't express myself more clearly, 'cause ingrisu isn't my first...
