Introducing a second girl that‘s open about her feelings seems like it completely defeats the premise of the manga… i am going to stick around for a while longer, but i can‘t say i am a fan of this.

IIRC it was introduced when they went to the artist island and the person who has it has significant control over how reincarnators manifest, including the ability to disable them entirely.

I really don't see a believable way for our protagonists to win at this point. Cattleya basically just instant-killed Kagura with a glance, then proceeded to revive her because she is that little threat to her plans. She knows where the last Mitama can be found and is already on her way there...

I can't imagine anyone outside of herself being dramatic about this, honestly. The manga has been way too chill for that so far.
