From what I can tell no matter how pathetic MC looks or acts she'll both call him out on it and genuinely love the effort he puts into trying to look dependable.
That's not a really a romcom, though. That's more of a drama than anything. One of those where the MC mopes around constantly dejected about his lost first love until he half moves on.
Yes and no. It's unsafe for sure but generally safer than killing an officer of an unknown group. Killing another country's officer, even in self-defense, is asking for retribution, especially the higher he is on the totem. On top of that they don't know the strength or numbers of this opposing...
