Agreed, but either they didn't, or they did and just thought he took time to bleed to death. Even if they did figure out he died the next day, they didn't realise the shooting on the CCTV had been faked so they had nothing to pin on Enzo.

The cops didn't figure out that he died the day after the robbery, since the camera was destroyed. They figured he bled to death on the same day, but he'd actually died the next day.

He was deleting them from the work phone that she was leaving in her desk every day, she probably didn't put a password on that.
