This part here in particular is what might be throwing me off the most. I just didn't get much of a grip on what makes Lemon tick beyond a surface level. For the large part of the manga she's just... Miss Geniality, and I thought, ok, she's a fairly standard heroine so far... and so far... and...

Gotta admit, I'm just glazing over these last couple of chapters as they feel a bit incomprehensible. Or rather it feels like mucking through the mud to get somewhere better. I get the feeling the author couldn't come up with a compelling enough narrative about this thing hanging over the manga...
