There are some words that just can’t be translated across languages. In terms of situations like this, the translator should keep it as is and just add a footnote onto the page. The previous group did this when “yukichi” was first introduced in the beginning of the series.

the translated word “banknotes”=“yukichi” . Yukichi Fukuzawa is on the 10,000 yen banknote. It’s a running joke in the manga that Haru thinks that the uncle and Kina are talking about an actual person when they say “yukichi is disappearing/melting”. It will continue to be brought up a few times...
I mean, he’s done a little more than making breakfast once. But he also hasn’t been much of a focal point in the series, like Kina has been. It does look like he’s starting to do his share of the house/child care now though.

They’re okay. Not the greatest. Some pronouns are mixed up and the office conversations were a bit messy, but for what it’s worth I don’t think the translation is way off. I’ve waited 3 years for someone to pick it back up.
I like Akito’s work friend and that he’s realizing that he needs to step up more. Also, Haru still being his cute self and I like that Touma heard that he’s allowed to speak up.
I don’t think they’re discouraging her exactly. It seems like all of the adults are in tight-nit friend group from grade school so they’re just concerned for Kina with the knowledge of Akito’s personality.

For a second I was worried the chapters were deleted, but somebody just changed the name. The 8th volume seems close to being completed and the translation is still stuck at Volume 5.
