So far the anime has been doing an amazing job with adapting the manga with the 12 episode time crunch they have. The only drawback is that the anime has shortened or skipped some scenes/dialogue that flesh out the characters more.

The poor blow dealt to Kasamachi-kun. I liked this chapter a lot because I think I can relate on the concept of wanting to know who parents are outside of being a parental figure.

I’d almost say Kasamachi-kun is third most important as he’s a lot more prevalent and provides the most support to both Makio and Asa.
