That's not how parrying works at all because it requires a surprising amount of energy to shift something's momentum even a little when it's that big and there's no way in hell a human being could output that amount of energy.

I know that's the case in real life but it's very rare in manga for there not to be an evil side in a war. And at the end of the day war needs to be fought over something be it resources or religious beliefs. There needs to be some motivation for the war to happen. Wars don't just happen.
