It's ok, I wish it focused more on the Ship and fighting parts. The world also seems neat, but needs fleshing out. Most of the other stuff is generic so far. I'll check out the novel and see if it's better or worse.

So much of the story just doesn't exist in this. I'm thankful we don't get a magical readout of all his skills and shit every minute, but we never hear a word until he gets something or does something. There's a story just beneath all the stuff that happens, but it's never talked about. Stuff...

The TL's are about the same, I prefer Lovely Strange Darks because of larger fonts. They also seem to have a better TL although it really is about the same either way.
