@Werebearguy
Definitely not. Milim destroying Charybdis was her showing off her ability to "hold back". Meanwhile what you call a "world boss" would be someone like Milim or Veldora. Charybdis is basically just, as someone once put it, "basically Veldora's fart."
@WolfSverre The WN is not canon. The author rushed it to the end when he started releasing the LN which was basically a reboot that tells a different story (which the manga/anime also follow) which becomes evident as the story progresses, so the WN is basically just abandonware.
You'll see the...
@Doodads
I think you are mistaking the power relations here. Back against Charybdis, the only ones who managed to solo one-shot a Megalodon were:
Benimaru, Shion and Ranga.
Diablo appears to be the strongest of Rimuru's subordinates, but he is busy with dealing with Farmus. After that come...
@wymar What kind of non-sense are you spouting. Completely wrong.
@Lxminous Veldora is not "under" Rimuru in power. Even the Hero had to first beat Veldora down before being able to use Infinite Prison. It's not an omnipotent ability. Leon's assessment of Veldora being able to "give Guy a...
@Morose
Nearly at the same time doesn't mean actually at the same time, think how even for twins there is an older and younger one based on a few seconds or minutes of time difference between their birth. Also we are talking about the "nearly at the same time" of ancient immortal beings here, so...
@GeNtLeM4N
None. The WN is a self-contained standalone continuity. The manga and anime follow the LN continuity instead. In this manga chapter, it's covering parts of LN vol. 6, chapter 2, as well as the intermission (which happens a little earlier in the manga than in the LN).
@pmntamp
Actually the anime will not get past the manga because the manga publisher is the main funder of the anime and they wouldn't want the anime to negatively impact the sales of the manga that they sell. In the first place, officially the anime is, as unusual as it is, actually considered...
@PhoenixStriker5251
No, the source material of the manga is not a "mix of WN and LN". The WN is not a source material for anything, period. It has ended and is not canon to any of the commercial Slime versions.
@deadrabbits @HDMI1
Yet you make it needlessly complicated with using a term that already has a different use, i.e. someone outside the circle who declares themselves a Demon Lord without being induced by one of the members, which in the story so far were just Rimuru and
So why not just use...
@Gilith
I mean it's not like Hinata attacked Rimuru "for being a monster". It's just that someone "tipped her off" about Rimuru supposedly "having killed Shizu", her teacher. So it was simply a case of Hinata taking the word of whoever her source was over that of Rimuru's and her going on a...
@HDMI1
You use the term "self-proclaimed Demon Lord" incorrectly. It refers to those who claim to be a Demon Lord but are not part of the current "Demon Lord club". Kazaream evidently was part of the group so you cannot call him "self-proclaimed".
If you mean the stage before a True Demon Lord...
@Tearsax
Obviously because Ramiris doesn't know. She only just arrived. Where should she have gotten that info? One of the strengths of this series is that information is actually treated seriously. The characters from all sides often operate with severely lacking knowledge, causing them to...
