    Yeah, I was wondering that as well. I'm from the US and back when I was a kid these entrance exams (the SAT) were out of 1600, with anything above 1500 being very good. I remember they had it out of 2400 for a while but I think they mighta gone back to 1600. Is the Gaokao out of 600?
