Sometimes I wonder if the author of this manhua has more life experience than one would expect in this genre. His description of the father's feelings really seems like it was taken from life. Very nice work.
I think this might be Xu trying to tell his wife that even though they live a peaceful happy life, not everyone in this era does, and even after a thousand years have passed humanity still hasnt got past war entirely.
