    Isekai Shachuuhaku Monogatari - Outrunner PHEV - Vol. 4 Ch. 21 - Azu's Determination

"You must marry the child, it is fate and the only way to save everyone!" Didn't go through with it I suppose, but the stars really seem to be aligning in favour of child marriage these last few chapters.

Chainsaw Man - Ch. 194 - Fun School Festival

My theory is that the mass hysteria, impending doom, or some other kind of devil of similar concept is currently erased so people just don't recognise such disasters. It'd make sense as one of the ones Pochita picked to keep Denji happy. Might have happened offscreen recently.

Isekai Shachuuhaku Monogatari - Outrunner PHEV - Vol. 4 Ch. 19 - A Day Out

This opened as a story about the protagonist bettering himself, and per this chapter he is now "better", according to Miya? Last few chapters it seems like his personal struggles have mostly transformed into "should I marry the child", and the messaging shifted to "everyone is cool with you...

    Isekai Cheat Kaitakuki

I haven't a clue what I expected would be different going into this, but it wasn't. This is exactly what it says it is and is unremarkable in every metric. I'm starting to wonder what it says about me that I felt some desire to read what is effectively the same thing as I have read tens of...

Isekai Kaeri no Arafour Riiman, 17-sai no Koro ni Modotte Musou suru - Vol. 2 Ch. 10

This feels like one of those manga where every character is really stupid but talks like they're smart by making constant allusions to "bigger things going on behind the scenes".

    JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 9 - The JOJOLands - Ch. 22 - Dolphin Bank's Debt Collection Part 1

I think what they picked up on was that she was acting cool, while being worried internally, which is kinda an indicator of hiding something. Still a bit flimsy, but this is a series where previously liars have been identified by taste, in the end.

Forging an Industrial Empire in a Magical World

Started reading, got to the third consecutive scene where a bad guy reaches out to hit a woman and the protagonist grabs his wrist and epically tells him "not on my watch", dropped. Is it too much to ask now that saviour power fantasy is interspliced with more than a smudge of character writing?

Classmate, Kamimura Yuuka wa Kou Itta - Vol. 6 Ch. 29 - Final chapter

This series was, like many that came before, and have come since, an interesting mystery that devolved heavily by the time it ended. It was especially odd how in the tail end of the series, the two core conflicts (escape, supervisor plan) were solved by new characters appearing, and then solving...

RTA Sousha wa Game Sekai kara Kaerenai - Vol. 4 Ch. 18

Considering how just talking to mountain girl threatened the end of the world, I think it's probably ill-advised to attempt any sort of unorthodox technique on an entity of bugged origin. In my opinion, best strategy is probably to leave a wide berth and hope for the best. Raspi's existence...

RTA Sousha wa Game Sekai kara Kaerenai - Vol. 4 Ch. 17

I think people upset about Raspi coming back for sake of the friendly merc party that got murked are forgetting this series is about an RPG. Especially considering we've already heard mention of the "mercenary system", I find it hard to believe that there isn't some pre-defined "recover allies"...

Isekai Shachuuhaku Monogatari - Outrunner PHEV - Vol. 2 Ch. 10 - Regrets and Moving Forward

So is the premise of this series that the protagonist first meets children, they fall in love with him, then he returns and they're legal age...? Still in love with a guy they knew for two days, some number of years prior? I don't know if I've ever seen such a contrived attempt at making...

Ogami Tsumiki to Kinichijou - Ch. 43 - Tsumiki-san and Sunny Day

With regard to the climb, I think it's fairly feasible. The wall is drawn close up for the most part, but on page six we do see that a Yutaka has picked a part at a pretty serious incline. It's the kind of wall that, if bouldering without a human backpack, you could do without hands. This type...

Chainsaw Man - Ch. 181 - Trees on the Mind

Aging's world is peaceful, without consequence, free of urgency and responsibility. For basically Denji's entire life, and Asa's since the start of Part 2, the two have barely had a moment of peace between each other. Now they're here, and with the way Fujimoto writes things, the anticlimax...

Isekai Chikyuu kan de Kojin Boueki Shite Mita - Vol. 1 Ch. 1

This guy didn't even blink at the prospect of owning slaves. The isekai genre is truly poisoned.
