All of the characters feel like such genuine (if a bit well-spoken) high school students, with all the nuances that come with starting to realize your own place in the world. I don't know how the author does it

@darktennisball I think that's intentional. For a rom-com series the comedy can get kinda tiring if it's just running non-stop, so they have to have some more serious sections to keep the balance. It'll probably get back to the normal comedy in the next few chapters, cause it seems like this is...
