Aurora didn't care enough to dig deep through the rumors and defend her, but cares enough to save her from death? They were apparently also not close enough. This frames Aurora's rescue more as reverence and (+NEW) curiosity towards her sister than sisterly love, making the entire thing...
Wondering if she was framed by both the prince and her sister so that they'd end up together--or if it was a one-sided scheme orchestrated by the prince because he is obsessed with Aurora, manipulating aurora's opinion of karina on the way; or if she became too troublesome and involved as a pawn...
i'm really curious about how grevious Su Yue was tortured. considering the things in the torture room, it was terrible; but it might've not been as worse as it looked. without that clarification, it's hard to make sense of Su Yue immediately having a 180 w/ her feelings towards Gu Yu.

i thought this was about different romances, since the mc is together with her girlfriend. but turns out they're not - they're on a fwb setup (or did i misread the situation) - and this is instead a development about them. which tbf is more appealing to me

It's nice that Kyou's feelings are established as genuine, it gives more dimension to the story. More than that, it's nice that they also established that Kyou knows/understands that Eri loves Fuyuki more than anything. It would make it easy for his relationship with Eri to reach a conclusion...
at first, i thought it go a cheating route what with ema being open about her "last resort" view towards her marriage. but when i think about it, she doesn't seem like the type. it would surely enthuse her if they could be in the relationship, but i don't think she allows herself to desire more...
