Little angst makes the reconciliation all the sweeter. Personally I'm expecting a fake-out where Elsa upon revisiting the place of their childhood memories, got it together and didn't drink it and then they have the heart-to-heart.
It's comical how late Circé is, they went through hell and back together, confronted their feelings several times over, and now Elsa even has the parents approval.
They are at the very bottom, that dragon is likely the final boss. If this story was only about beating the dungeon it would have a pretty weird difficulty curve, getting easier going forward. The synopsis mentions something about renovating so it's probably not all about that thankfully.
