This reveal of Mizuchi's backstory pretty much checks out for me; the Sages and the Hakurei Shrine collaborated to create Gensokyo, but the Miyadeguchi (Mizuchi) opposed this, and as a result, the Miyadeguchi were destroyed (or in this case, scapegoated as traitors to humanity). I wonder what...
