I've seen/read plenty of this type of pretentious "I'm smtarter than everybody else" protagonist but they usually have some redeeming quality or something that makes you root for them. In contrast, the protagonist in this manga is an annoying brat that's all edgy for shock value.

This chapter feels more like an epilogue or something. At least the previous one had some cheesy emotions, this one is kinda bland for an ending.

"what a lovely series and happy chapter I wonder what people commented" 5 seconds later.... "I made a terrible mistake"

And now the dude will think "she" is into yuri

I still feel like it's a cop out. I'd rather have 4/5ths of the fanbase salty by chosing a girl but with a proper ending than "make everyone happy" alternate route crap. And then this chapter making the routes just a dream is the cherry on top for the dumpster fire.

He's realizing keeping a harem is high maitenance.

But how does she get a vision of it? Are the other girls bold enough to give the chocolate when the girlfriend is next to the dude or did she stalk him and watch from the bushes? The visions are meant to be from her pov.

Everyone is free to read to skip chapters as much as everyone else is also free of thinking that doing that is dumb. Opinions are free so whatever.

If you can have a decent ending with each girl, it just proves that Nariyuki as a character had no development at all and is just a blank slate you can fit into anything. I know it's done to leave everyone happy regardless of ship, but at what cost? It highlights how nothing in the story had...

It's not a retcon, translators originally found the doujin previews on pixiv thinking they were the real thing, then realized it was not the full version when it was too late.

What I don't like is when they start using flashbacks. Like they first show the conclusion and then go backwards to explain it, instead of showing glimpses of those flashback on earlier chapters to build up to this point. Because now in hindisght it's totally cute how he was always in love with...
