Not a fan of the "eating him" story element they introduced, I feel like it doesn't really mesh well with this story and was a bit ham-fisted, but I'm glad things ended on a happy note.
Lol this chapter's hilarious, I'm glad the Scylla got a happy ending with someone who can make sure she behaves. The claw bending against his neck was unexpected but so funny.

Murdering innocent relatives isn't a good look. The only exception I can think of is if they're guilty, but that's never stated. It would be pretty justifiable if someone connected to them wanted to get revenge.
I'm kind of disappointed in how this chapter ended. It's fine but I feel like it could have been much better if the demon queen was forced to act to protect him, instead of just letting them kill him. If they kept attacking after he showed off his power, would she have stepped in to stop them...
