Im guessing he based that on his personality and how hes allways relying on stuff. To others it looks like hes an asshole, and they never see the hard work he actually puts in. So they just see him as really lucky.

The way hes so far away in the stabbing page looks like he dabs, hence the "the activation is weird" thing he says lol.
