So after the party used Revolved and reset the world before Albus's death, Rayman got switched to the Hero and started looping to stop the demon king spreading the disease however couldn't stop it and kept looping in an attempt to try and save as much people as possible from the disease.

Oh I see now, so the Spiral staircase at the end was real but the metaphor they made for her fainting and passing out at the way back was that she nearly climbed the Towering staircase. Got super mixed up since only one staircase was shown in this chapter and thought they were referring to the...
So from what I understand, from this comment and the other one is that Myne just imagined herself climbing and descending the Spiral/Towering staircase from fatigue and the imagery was all supposed to be metaphorical and she didn't actually reach the end of the path but passed out on a normal...
I like how the ending notes that she "nearly climbed" the Divine staircase in the end, but in reality she did climb it. I'm assuming that because the teachers found her passed out and close by the staircase they had that misunderstanding and spread that rumor instead and Myne never clarified it.

Makes you wonder if after this attack, the Queen will be more steadfast about separating Liberty from her child to prevent Liberty's child from ever being kidnapped and used as a figurehead for a potential uprising, etc.
Albus's expression there on the last few pages implies he had a disagreement with Rayman while discussing his past life as the hero. They probably disagreed about how to go about defeating the demon king, either that or for some reason Albus was not fully on board about going on a journey again...
Yeah its hard to tell at a glance, but the Fiona at the end kinda doesn't look like a child-version of herself. Maybe its just the perspective of the paneling that makes it seem that way who knows.
With this new guy being the Hero, Albus doesn't really have the option anymore of using his status as the Hero to expedite things, not to mention we know nothing about this new guy and by all means he could just make the decision to slay the demon king's vessels and be done with this whole mess...
With how many different things the author has and is working on, I wouldn't be surprised if this was a small nod to a game that's being developed, just a crossover chapter, etc.
