@gorion From what I can tell based on the raws and the google translation of there titles (I can’t speak Korean). The raws appear to be at the point of her about to sacrifice herself as the story in the prolog goes. However, this is just a guess based on my intuition.

While I agree @Cleesus. In that day and age women can't exist without a man. Instead of helping her father, the village refers to her as serving her father. It's sad but if she isn't serving a man (Father or husband) it's likely she would be run out of town as a fox in my opinion
